Community Guidelines

Shaadi Profiles is built on trust. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure every person on our platform feels safe, respected, and valued. By using Shaadi Profiles you agree to follow these standards. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent account termination.

Be Honest

Use real photos of yourself — no celebrity images, group photos as your primary photo, or heavily filtered images that misrepresent your appearance.
Provide accurate personal information including age, marital status, and location.
Do not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.

Be Respectful

Treat every member with dignity regardless of their religion, caste, community, gender, or background.
Do not send offensive, abusive, or discriminatory messages.
Accept rejections gracefully — everyone has the right to decline an interest or stop a conversation.
Do not pressure, guilt, or coerce another user into continuing contact.

Keep Conversations Appropriate

Do not send sexually explicit messages or unsolicited explicit content.
Do not share or request intimate images.
Keep your first interactions respectful and genuine.

Protect Your Safety & Others’

Never share your financial details, passwords, or OTPs with anyone you meet on the platform.
Be cautious about sharing your home address or workplace early in a connection.
Report any user who asks you for money or makes you feel unsafe.
Do not share another user’s personal information without their explicit consent.

No Scams or Fraud

Do not use the platform to solicit money, gifts, or financial assistance from other users.
Do not represent yourself as a matrimony agent or recruiter without disclosure.
Do not use the platform to advertise products or services.

No Hate Speech

Content that promotes violence or hatred against any group based on religion, caste, race, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality is strictly prohibited.
Do not use slurs or derogatory language of any kind.

Reporting & Enforcement

Use the “Report” button on any profile or message to flag behaviour that violates these guidelines. Our moderation team reviews reports as part of a regular review process — reports are not monitored in real time. Depending on the severity of a violation, we may issue a warning, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban the offending account.

If you believe you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first. Do not rely on this platform for emergency assistance.
