Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ShaadiProfile website, mobile applications, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the linked policies.

1. Eligibility and authority

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep it reasonably up to date.
  • You may not impersonate another person or create an account for them without authority and consent.
  • You are responsible for protecting your password, OTPs, and signed-in devices.

2. Matrimonial-service limits

ShaadiProfile helps adults discover and communicate with potential matrimonial contacts. It does not guarantee a match, response, engagement, marriage, identity, background, compatibility, financial position, or outcome. Verify information independently, avoid sending money to other members, and follow our Safety Guide.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service unlawfully or for harassment, stalking, hate, threats, fraud, scams, or financial solicitation;
  • publish false, misleading, intimate, infringing, malicious, or unauthorized content;
  • scrape profiles, automate abusive requests, send spam, or circumvent access controls;
  • upload malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
  • misuse contact details or information obtained from another member.

4. Profiles, messages, and moderation

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it.

We may review reported profiles, photos, messages, or conduct and may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts or content when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or these terms. We cannot pre-screen every interaction. Use report and block tools when needed.

5. Free and paid features

The available free features are shown in the product. New paid subscriptions remain disabled by default until final purchase terms are approved and published. If paid purchases are later enabled, the checkout must show the plan, duration, price, taxes where applicable, and the then-current Refund & Cancellation Policy before payment.

6. Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. You can request OTP-confirmed account deletion from Security settings. Some anonymized safety, dispute, transaction, or accounting records may remain where reasonably necessary or legally required.

7. Intellectual property

The service software, brand, interface, and first-party content are owned by ShaadiProfile or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. Do not use our name or branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement.

8. Service availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular matrimonial result and are not responsible for another member’s independent conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate website, app, or email notice and will apply as required by law.
